I have been practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 25 years. I went back to my hometown, Phoenix AZ, to go to the same school as the LMT who helped relieve my migraines after two car accidents a child. In both accidents I experienced TBI (traumatic brain injury) and this is why I've focused on neurological issues throughout my many years of training. I graduated from Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College with a cumulative 4.0 GPA and extensive training in: corrective, deep tissue, sports, infant, prenatal, MFR, neuromuscular, craniosacral, and many other techniques. I also have EDS (Ehlers Danlos syndrome) joint hypermobility and over time this has caused many other issues which led me to additional studies in nutrition, corrective exercises, kinesiology, advanced cupping therapy, becoming a yoga instructor in 2009 and with swimming being the best exercise for me, I became a CPR/first aid/lifeguard instructor in 2018.
I found the 200+ hours of charity work that I did during massage school so rewarding that I have continued to do so ever since. Between holding board positions in non-profit support organizations, organizing fundraisers, fire performing and/or teaching for them, participating in charitable heath/sporting events, doing wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education, and much more. I have a special place in my heart for family support, Girl Scouts, lifeguard/CPR/first aide instructing, local community organization boards, and LGBTQ organizations. I have done some sort of volunteer work on at least a weekly basis for most of my life. In my yoga classes I also focus on body positivity.
I am available for Event Massages, but I'm currently only accepting New clients after completing a phone interview or with Referrals for Individual Massages at my home office or in their home. Please email to schedule your interview JenH@massagetherapy.com
